We encourage you to explore the new Online MBA program as an alternative, which is similar in structure and timeline to the PMBA, while incorporating new features like specialization tracks, optional study abroad, and career workshops.
The Virginia Tech Professional MBA is designed for working professionals across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Region who want to advance their career while balancing their work and personal life.
The hybrid format of the Professional MBA allows you to benefit from both the flexibility of an online program and the enriching experience of an in-person program where you can become an active participant in classroom lectures and discussions, develop working relationships with your peers, and engage with Virginia Tech’s top-notch faculty.
Once-per-month class weekends rotate between Richmond and Roanoke, with a local option for students based in Hampton Roads. Online instruction and collaboration in between class sessions create flexibility for working professionals and allow you to complete the program in just 24 months.
